We have a great night of fights to look forward to this Thursday at PFL 4 – 2021, as the last regular season event goes underway with former WEC & UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis headlining his second-straight event after losing his first to Clay Collard just a month-and-a-half ago.
Two-time PFL champions Lance Palmer and Natan Schulte look to get back to their winning ways after being upset in round one, and three-division world champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist boxer Claressa Shields will also be making her mixed martial arts debut at this event.
That’s a really exciting one.
Shields may be 11-0 as a professional boxer, 77-1 as an amateur, having handily defeated many of the best in the sport, but she does have a tough test this Thursday. Brittney Elkin may only be 3-6 as a professional, but guess what, that’s nine MMA fights to Shields’ zero.
That may make things a little difficult for the young Michigan native.
